PHOTO's BY: U.S. Navy
See files "C47 Navy R4D Photo.jpg".

PANELS: If you don't like the panel selected, there are
several great panels for the C-47, or DC-3 on SurClaro.
They are "hudpan.zip" and "usac-60a.zip".

SOUND: This C-47 uses the C-182 sound files, but
there are several releases of sounds for C-47, or DC-3 on
SurClaro and elsewhere on the Internet.

TEXTURES: All blemishes in the texture are purposely placed
to make the aircraft look weathered.

FS2002 TIPS:
Yes, it can be flown in FS2002 by using the FSEDIT.EXE
program. Install the aircraft in the FS2002/AIRCRAFT folder, or if you
already have it in FS2000, you can leave it there and FSEDIT will import the
aircraft into FS2002. After the aircraft is installed go to the main FS2002
folder and look for file "FSEDIT.EXE" and open it. After you open FSEDIT,
go to the "HELP" selection on the top menu and select "HELP TOPICS". You
will now see a list of help selections. Select "ADDING AIRCRAFT" and then
follow the instructions. I will list the instructions from FSEDIT below.

FSEDIT ADDING AIRCRAFT INSTRUCTIONS.

You can add other Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft to the Aircraft Editor
for use in Flight Simulator 2002. For example, if you've also got Microsoft
Combat Flight Simulator installed on your computer, you can add those
aircraft for panel modification.

To add an aircraft

1. Click the Open icon on the Aircraft Editor toolbar.
2. Your computer's hard disk drive directory will display in the left
window. Navigate to the aircraft folder from which you want to add a
particular aircraft.

Note: The OK button is available only when the aircraft's main folder is
selected, not the folders below it (such as panel or sound). For example, if
you wish to add the B-17g from Combat Flight Simulator, in the Aircraft
folder in Combat Flight Simulator, click B17g.

Click the aircraft you wish to add, then click OK.

Note: You cannot swap out or modify the panels of AI (computer-generated)
aircraft, such as those in Combat Flight Simulator. The aircraft name will
appear, but there will be no panel associated with the panel icon.

You must use FSEDIT to do the adding. After you have added the aircraft,
you can select "FLY THIS PLANE" under the "FILE" menu selection. This will
bring you back into FS2002, with the aircraft that you just selected, or you
can go back to FS2002 and select the aircraft from the aircraft menu, as it
should now be available.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
All of my C182RG, T-41, Extra 300S and Learjet 45 aircraft can be flown
in CFS2 by downloading the CFS DP files created by JEAN-JACQUES
PAREL. Several of my aircraft are in military colors and suitable for CFS1.
You can search for his files by using the file search function. Search for
"Parel" or use the specific file names listed below. You can also search for
all of my aircraft under "Bongiovanni" to determine if you want to use any
of my Military version aircraft in CFS2

For the C182RG and T-41, download file - JP_DPRG.ZIP
For the Extra 300S, download file - JP_DPEX.ZIP
For the Learjet 45, Download file - JP_DPL45.ZIP

NOTES: If you like to fly out of Meigs Airport, you should download the file
"Meigs1.zip from SurClaro. You will love how he improved the scenery.
Look for quality scenery and tutorials by Andreas Klisch.

If you are looking for excellent quality aircraft, go to "file search" on SurClaro
